Designed to please multiple senses, the Yamaha STORIA I is an acoustic/electric guitar that is designed to look as good as it sounds. The STORIA I offers a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, all done in a semi-gloss off-white top finish and a light-blue interior. This coloring scheme provides a modern and clean aesthetic to bring light and levity to the instrument's surrounding environs. Ivory binding, coupled with a mahogany and ivory inlaid rosette, further accentuate the sleek, modern design.

But how does it sound? The spruce top, paired with the mahogany back and sides, ensures an all-around, balanced tone; it's sweet, smooth, but not overly bright, while the solidity of the top bolsters resonance. The instrument is also eminently playable, thanks to its concert body, rounded fret edges, narrow neck, and relatively short 25" scale.

The neck is fashioned out of nato, offering you a walnut fingerboard and 400mm radius. You'll find open-gear champagne-gold tuners at the headstocs, while strings are affixed to the body with a walnut bridge. A Yamaha passive undersaddle pickup coupled with a 1/4" jack lets you plug the instrument into house PAs or amplifiers, should you need to reinforce the sound in a live context.
